We invite new sponsors to join us in this mission. You can fully fund your scholarship upfront or take advantage of our Acorn Fund option, designed to make giving accessible for donors of all means.
What is an Acorn Fund?
An Acorn Fund is your personal fund that grows over time—just like an acorn becomes a mighty oak. With an initial gift of $5,000, you can start building a scholarship endowment named for you, your family, or someone you wish to honor.
Here’s how it works:
- Start Small, Grow Big: Begin with $5,000 and contribute at least $1,500 annually.
- Watch It Grow: Your fund is invested and grows through your contributions.
- Reach Your Goal: Once your fund reaches $20,000 (within 10 years), it becomes a permanent endowment that awards scholarships every year.
- Flexibility: You can even award scholarships before your fund is fully endowed by making additional pass-through gifts of $500 or more.
